2018 Annual Dinner featuring Susan Stamberg

New Hampshire Humanities is thrilled to announce that Susan Stamberg will present the keynote address at our 2018 Annual Dinner on Wednesday, October 3 at the Doubletree Hilton Manchester Downtown (formerly the Radisson Hotel). The Annual Dinner is New Hampshire Humanities' sole fundraising event -- supporting hundreds of free public programs in every corner of the state.

Join 700-plus leaders from the corporate, educational, philanthropic, civic, cultural, and nonprofit communities to hear a fascinating talk by an icon in public radio, connect with one another, and support the ongoing work of New Hampshire Humanities. Please join us!


About our speaker

Nationally renowned broadcast journalist Susan Stamberg is a special correspondent for NPR.

Stamberg is the first woman to anchor a national nightly news program, and has won every major award in broadcasting. She has been inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame and the Radio Hall of Fame. An NPR "founding mother," Stamberg has been on staff since the network began in 1971.

Beginning in 1972, Stamberg served as co-host of NPR's award-winning newsmagazine All Things Considered for 14 years. She then hosted Weekend Edition Sunday, and now reports on cultural issues for Morning Edition and Weekend Edition Saturday.
